Four years since the Taliban takeover, the rights of women and girls in #Afghanistan – including to education, work and safety – are being denied. Girls are banned from school after the age of about 13. Women are barred from most jobs, from political life and, in many parts of the country, are prohibited from being in public unless they are accompanied by a man. Most women can’t even make decisions within their own households. Despite everything, Afghan women and girls continue to show strength, resilience and courage. But they should not have to face these challenges alone. The world must act now to stand with Afghan women and secure a future where their dignity and rights are protected. ➡️ Scroll through to learn what life is like as an Afghan woman or a girl. 📸: unwomen #ForAllWomenAndGirls
