I needed a break from Nationals processing this week, so Friday evening I did this thing. A quick story, 30 years ago I worked with this guy’s dad at IBM. Before he was a twinkle. A couple years ago while I was shooting Elite Track Nationals Dalton’s dad recognized my voice after all these years. So cycling was responsible for a long time reunion. I’m happy and proud of what this young man has accomplished in life. I thought it fitting to feature him here on the eve on another Nationals and reunion with his wonderful family. People ask me why I have focused my photography on this sport for the past 15+ years. It has given me so much. This reunion with the Walter’s is just another gift.
