Loch Ontario brings a brew of Celtic songs and tunes from the folk traditions of Scotland, Ireland, Brittany, Cape Breton, and Québec.
You can catch them on Saturday, September 13 at the Celtic Island Music Festival on Toronto Island. Ticket link available in bio and on the website of the St. Andrew’s Society of Toronto.
The band does not shy away from mixing the best qualities of each musical language as they intermingle. Deep celtic melodies, harmonies, and rhythms are woven in such a way as to take you on a journey, making sure friends are met and stories are told along the way. Welcome to our kitchen party!
Loch Ontario members include Andy Sharp (guitar/banjo/voice), Billy Boulet (highland bagpipes/scottish smallpipes/uilleann pipes/whistles/harmonicas/feet/voice) and Chris Murray (fiddle/mandolin/voice).
