Our wicked good #MarineSanctuary adventures have continued, sailing into Stellwagen Bank! ⚓🐋 We hosted the second of five special outings in the National Marine Sanctuary network, connecting #MilitaryFamilies to the magic of our nation’s protected marine areas! In partnership with NOAASanctuaries, MarineSanctuaryFdn, and NOAAFisheries, we welcomed active duty service members and their families for a day of hands-on learning, whale and seabird spotting, and sustainable fishing in the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. The day began with dockside programming, where families learned about the sanctuary’s incredible marine life, including whales, seabirds, and the fish species we’d soon be reeling in. Then, we boarded the Yankee Fleet and set out for an afternoon on the water!
