👨‍🍳Meet Chef Kerling, also known around the kitchen as Chef K or just Chef. He brings a wealth of experience to the Stow-Munroe Falls High School as their new Culinary Arts Instructor! 🍜🍝🍚 Since 2018, Chef Kerling has been a career tech educator in the culinary arts, and has spent 22 years in the restaurant industry, constantly teaching and learning along the way. He looks forward to being part of the high school community and is eager to grow and strengthen its culinary program, while honoring its traditions. Chef Kerling was inspired to teach while working as a chef at Osteria Di Valerio e Al, where he helped with an annual event that invited guests to prepare and serve a preset course for friends at another table. The experience showed him that his passion had shifted from executing in the kitchen to teaching and inspiring others through food.
