I’ve tried 100’s of facials… here’s what you need to knowπŸ‘‡πŸΌ πŸ’†πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Dermaplaning could be making you break out. It can introduce or spread bacteria, disrupt your skin barrier, and make your skin more permeable and sensitive. Think about shaving your legs and getting bumps or ingrowns - same idea. I know we all love that post-dermaplane smoothness, but if you’re dealing with acne or texture, it’s definitely something to reconsider. I break out EVERY time! πŸ’†πŸ½β€β™€οΈ You should be doing more red light (at home, too). It boosts collagen, improves texture and tone, and reduces inflammation and redness - especially great after extractions. I’ve seen a huge difference in my skin from doing it daily while I meditate, and I always ask if a facial includes it! πŸ’†πŸ½β€β™€οΈ More definitely IS NOT more. You don’t need constant facials to have great skin. I personally aim for every other month. If your facials are introducing a ton of new products every time, and you have sensitive or acne-prone skin...
