The Miners win! ⛏️ Sussex County (48-35) collared the Down East Bird Dawgs (31-50), 18-11, on Gold Rush Night at Skylands Stadium. The Miners provided plenty of offensive firepower on Fireworks Night, collecting 19 hits in the game. Every Miner had at least a hit; seven of nine players scored at least a run and tallied at least an RBI. Will Zimmerman (pictured) went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI. The third baseman hit his sixth home run of the season, moving into 10th place on the all-time franchise list with 11.
