YES - the rumors are true. High Valley is at risk of losing $162,000 in government funding this year. And while that financial loss is hard to think about and we are actively advocating for continued support, we believe our community cares enough to step in and appreciates the value we provide to the families of the San Luis Valley. HVCC exists to provide programming for kids not only as a safe place during parents' working hours, but as a place to invest into the youth that are going to create huge change for our future. At HVCC, kids are mentored, encouraged, challenged, and loved. They’re given space to grow into leaders.
