Dr. David Wall Rice, Crown Forum Endowed Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology at Morehouse College, was recently featured in a Good Morning America (goodmorningamerica) segment highlighting the Ralph Lauren documentary, A Portrait of the American Dream: Oak Bluffs.⁠ ⁠ The film explores the legacy of Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, a historic summer retreat for generations of Black families. Dr. Rice joins other thought leaders, including Valerie Jarrett, James Jeter, and Cole Brown, for a panel discussion following a special screening of the documentary on Friday, August 8, during the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival.
