Cinematographer Jacques Jouffret, ASC (jacquesjouffretasc) sharing a #R3Dsnapshot of netflix 'American Primeval.' "We filmed a large part of American Primeval, a winter saga, during the height of the spring–summer season in New Mexico. Fighting time amid harsh weather conditions on big sets required meticulous planning. And yet, when it was time to shoot, my team and I were ready to follow our actors and our director where they wanted to play the scene. This frame of Dane DeHaan having his wounds brutally sewn up at Fort Bridger came by way of this daily high-wire act—of preparing as much as possible so that we could readjust our lighting and camera plan to follow the story at a moment’s notice. The frame was shot on a RED V-RAPTOR with an 18mm Panavision Sphero 65 lens.”
