A love letter to the Leadville 100? But words—and certainly via Instagram—can’t capture the love, romance, and heartfelt lust that this place, this race has held, fostered, and brought into my life.  No, rather than purple poetic words, a true love letter is written in steps on the trail, the ridges of the mountains, and in that infamous, damn thin air.  I’m full of gratitude for Leadville. I’m joyous to celebrate the people and the grit that come with it.
