UofGFood are proud to announce that the University has achieved the Food For Life Bronze Certification, a sustainable food certification credited to all our kitchens by the SOIL Association. 🍳🍎🥘🥕   To achieve this, we met the 12 Bronze Standards and implemented positive changes across catering: offer nutritious & balanced menus, better food waste reduction strategies, making 90% of our dishes on campus, sourcing local and seasonal food, having all of our meat be Red Tractor, Farm assured or QMS certified as well as all of our fish being MSC or MCS certified and provide staff training on sustainability.   We are delighted to have been recognised for our efforts so far and we aim to uphold these standards and work to continually improve our practices for our students, staff and community. soilassociation #sustainablity #TeamUofG #UofG #Glasgow #University #GlasgowUni #UniversityofGlasgow #GlasgowUniversity #Scotland
