I kept her on reptile carpet when I got her in 2016. I found out that was bad and switched to sand. Found out THAT was bad and switched to slate + some loose substrate. I read and figured out she was albino and that’s why she was so sensitive to light. I battled several eye infections before switching to paper towel—and she’s had no infections since. She also has lightless heat and hunts much better with her remaining good eye now that her enclosure is dim all day. I figured out where I went wrong with her diet and she lost weight.
