Sometimes I come across an old picture of Loofah and cringe a bit. She had neck rolls! The funny thing about judging solely based off of “is the tail as thick as the neck” is that the neck gets fatter…and the goalposts move. Thankfully, I figured it out before it was too late, snd Loofah is much healthier now. Always judge on multiple body condition factors, not just one. She may be blind in one eye, but she’s not going to die of fatty liver disease. She was my first pet reptile so I made a looot of mistakes with her care as a 13/14-year-old, I’m just grateful that she’s still around to live a much improved life. #reptiles #lizard #gecko #leopardgecko #snake #animals #frog
