Your ChatGPT chats can be used in court.
Sam Altman just dropped a warning most people never think about: there’s no doctor-patient style confidentiality when you pour your heart out to ChatGPT.
People use it like a therapist, a lawyer, a life coach. But if you end up in a lawsuit? Those conversations can be subpoenaed and used as evidence.
Altman says it’s “screwed up” and wants legal privacy protections for AI chats, but right now, nothing exists. Until then, think twice before sharing personal stuff with your chatbot.
Would you still trust ChatGPT with your secrets?
