A picture is worth a thousand words. But sometimes 1 word can capture the essence of a moment. Home. The words grateful, appreciative, and thankful are true too, but it’s more than that. Everyone in this picture (and so many of you not pictured) are why I now call Austin, TX home. This community shows up, supports each other, and plays some incredible pickleball. Also, the biggest thank you to Emilse for somehow arranging, inviting and keeping all of this a secret until I turned the corner to find you all hiding to surprise me on my birthday. I had no idea and I am eternally grateful.
