Let’s take the Nikonusa Z8, the NIKKOR Z 24–70mm f/2.8, and a $20 tablecloth… and see what we can create 📸✨ I brought everything up to a New York City rooftop, directed my model to face up toward the sun, and then used the cloth as a backdrop. I shot at 1/2000 sec, f/2.8, ISO 40 to balance the harsh light and ended up with a mix of deep shadows and highlights. Then we held the cloth up to the sun having the model underneath it to create this really cool patterned effect that I leaned into for the final look! Even with this simple setup, the Z8’s 45.7MP full-frame sensor captured all detail, and the autofocus locked on super fast.
