🎯 “Leadership isn’t a title — it’s a wake-up call.”
Today my eldest turned 15.
And just like that, I’m face to face with a real question:
👉🏾 What kind of influence have I had on her… really?
Not just as a dad.
But as a leader.
Too often, we confuse leadership with position:
🧍🏾♂️ “I’m the parent.”
🧍🏾♂️ “I’m the manager.”
🧍🏾♂️ “I’ve been here the longest.”
But leadership doesn’t care about titles.
Leadership is influence.
Consistent. Quiet. Daily. Sometimes invisible — until it echoes back at you through someone else’s growth… or pain.
🔥 My daughter doesn’t follow what I say — she absorbs who I am.
So I asked myself this morning:
➡️ Am I the kind of man she’s learning clarity from?
➡️ Am I showing her what presence under pressure looks like?
➡️ Would she say my leadership made her more confident in who SHE is?
Tough questions. But necessary ones.
