🏆⛳️ A historic moment for GIAA athlete Mason Howell! He’s a student at Brookwood School in Thomasville, GA. Just 2 months after competing in his first U.S. Open, Mason capped off an incredible summer by winning the U.S. Amateur Championship at The Olympic Club. At only 18 years old, he became the third-youngest champion in history, surpassing Tiger Woods. Mason dominated the 36-hole final against Jackson Herrington, securing a 7 & 6 victory — the largest margin since 2015. His win earns him spots in the Masters, U.S. Open, and British Open, as well as the prestigious Walker Cup at Cypress Point. Mason shared: ✨ “It’s been such a great week.
