Just visited my 33rd MLB ballpark: George M. Steinbrenner Field, the *temporary* home of the Tampa Bay Rays! 🌴 Obviously the circumstances for why the Rays are playing here aren’t ideal, but I was looking forward to seeing regular season baseball from a new venue. Being a diehard Yankees fan, I was extra excited about it because this is their Spring Training home! The Rays have done a solid job making the place feel like their own ballpark, but there are still quite a few Yankees features scattered around. The Yankees happened to be in town too, and they tied a franchise record for the most home runs in a single game with 9, so I saw history as well! The crowd was genuinely >95% Yankees fans, and they took home a 13-3 win, so good vibes all around for me!
