Two close races at Road America last weekend ensure all four McLaren Trophy America titles go down to the wire at Indianapolis in October. A double victory for tommypintos and broll_racing helped them close the championship gap in the Pro class to just 5.5 points, with 30 on offer in the final two races. The margin is even closer in the ProAm class where alexhainer and jesselazare have seen their lead cut to 3.5 points, despite winning the weather truncated race one. A superb defensive race two drive from johnezraracing however led to victory and a step closer to the title.
