As part of our ongoing celebration of Indigenous voices, we’re proud to feature Carissa Eich (nihidzill), a Navajo artist and the creative mind behind Nihidzill, meaning "Our Strength" in Navajo. A student at Arizona State University studying Graphic Information Technology, Carissa blends photography and digital design to share the beauty, strength, and spirit of her culture. Her art reflects a deep connection to her Navajo heritage, using creative expression as a powerful bridge between tradition and contemporary storytelling.
