In celebration of its golden anniversary on June 23 and through the 2023 national championship game, the College Football Playoff will showcase the stories of trailblazing women who have impacted and advanced the sport of college football. This month, we feature Heather Marini and Milan (Mimi) Bolden-Morris. Heather Marini is in her third season on the coaching staff with Brown University Football, including her second season as the Bears’ quarterbacks coach. She joined the program as an Offensive Quality Control Assistant ahead of the 2019 season, before being promoted in March 2020 to her current position and becoming the first woman position coach in Division I history. Milan (Mimi) Bolden-Morris is in her first season with Michigan Football as the Wolverines’ graduate assistant coach working with the quarterbacks.
