We have another Riverwood Athletics Alum back in the house! Alex Cruz is already a familiar face in our Boys Soccer program, and we are pleased to announce that he has been named our new Head Boys Soccer Coach for the 2026 season. Coach Cruz played four years of Varsity Boys Soccer at Riverwood, and he also developed his game through the local soccer programs here in the Atlanta area. Cruz played club soccer at the highest level for Concorde Fire, competed at the National League level with Georgia Alliance, and was selected the Best Starting XI in the Southeastern Region in 2020. Cruz was also a walk-on player for Georgia Gwinnett College’s Men’s Soccer team. Cruz has five years of coaching and private training experience, and currently coaches with the Tucker Youth Soccer Association (TYSA) Academy Boys, and provides individual and group training through Fenomeno Footy.
