I made my garden opossum a cake. 🐀🎂✨He clearly wasn’t a fan of the decorations. It’s a hobbit hole made from a chocolate swiss roll cake. There is chocolate fudge icing, green cake crumb moss, raspberry mushrooms, and marzipan pumpkins! Oh, and a sweet little opossum figure from Camp Hollow! And no, I didn’t actually let him eat it. 🤣I imagine chocolate isn’t great for a wild animal. I did give him the raspberries though and he loved them! His name is Pumpkin and he’s my little garden friend. He eats my overripe bananas and pretty much any fruit or veggie I’ll leave out for him. He’s a huge fan of hard boiled eggs which has made me decide he’s a diva because where is he finding those in the wild? 🤣I started feeding him because he seemed so small to be out on his own, but after research he’s actually larger than when most are when they leave their mommas.
