Meet Sustainability Coordinator Rachel Willis in the newest installment of We Are Reed (and follow @sustainablereed )! “In my role as Sustainability Coordinator, I work with a team of 11 students. We do everything from managing the vegetable garden and orchard to running the Swap Shop to compiling data for Reed’s first greenhouse gas inventory. The coolest thing about my work is that it touches on so many different areas of the college: academics, operations, student life. “Because sustainability has a role to play in every part of Reed, I get to connect with so many people. For example, I recently met with two Reed librarians and a professor to start a sustainability book club and bring speakers to campus. And the day before that I met with the Gray Fund coordinators to plan events for Earth Day.
