I first recorded this cover of the Icona Pop / Charli XCX gem 10 yrs ago with my friend Roger Greenawalt in Brooklyn. Since the original’s resurgence, it felt right to revisit my cover, give it a proper master (thx kevinjsalem ) and let it out into the world. Longtime friend + collaborator, director skotcof directed the video which takes place on a ferry going under the Manhattan Bridge one summer day in NYC. Editor Robin Gonsalves gave it the finishing touches, making it look like the movie of my dreams.
