During our 155th Commencement Exercises, the highest honor Canisius High School bestows – the St. Peter Canisius Award – was presented to Robert Reger ’66.
The Saint Peter Canisius Award recognizes extraordinary service to CHS. Recipients are steadfast friends and benefactors who are zealous and passionate in their efforts to further the mission of Canisius High School. They are innovative leaders whose impact on Canisius will benefit generations of Crusaders.
Reger faithfully served Canisius High School for 18 years as a trustee, including 12 years as chairman.
Principal Tom Coppola ‘01 described Reger’s contributions to Canisius before President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J., presented the award on the stage of Scaccia Auditorium.
