Lesson 5 of 30 ↣ comparison is the 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇 of joy 😤 “jealousy” is the fear of losing something you already have, while “envy” is the desire to have something that someone else has. Envy came up in my therapy session yesterday. Especially since I’ve been out of the tech world and in the new social media space this year, it’s a tricky place to be. We talked about how sometimes envy reveals the direction we want to go, and that can evolve into a positive guide. 🙂‍↕️ Especially with the Forbes 30 list just came out this week, all the EOY galas and awards ceremonies, and promo results from Q3, this time of year can be *heavy* with contention and discourse. But remember, those are all HIGHLIGHTS, not their every day. Stay grounded to what’s most important to you.
