For three decades, Rosie, the Chilean rose hair tarantula, has been one of Butterfly Pavilion’s most beloved ambassadors. Since 1995, she’s welcomed millions of guests, helping people overcome fears, spark curiosity, and discover the beauty of invertebrates. Now, Rosie is ready for a new chapter. Beginning September 8, Rosie will transition from our public handling experience to a dedicated exhibit home on display for all to still visit, where she can continue inspiring visitors.
