Better late than never😂‼️ I was blessed to be a part of the team that produced the #FutureChampions initiative by #WesternUnion as they give #MoreInna2024! We visited one underfunded school from each parish (total 14) and heard each of their stories. Meeting some students who funded themselves to attend track meets, and coaches who help train the athletes without being paid, it was a very touching and impactful project to have been behind the scenes for. I watched Champs 2024 knowing that so many students and supporters have sacrificed a lot to just show up at the national stadium! Just some notable mentions from schools that I produced, Luke Plummer from Sydney Pagon STEM Academy in St Elizabeth went home with a bronze medal in the 800m and I could not be more proud to see the positive words from the entire Sydney Pagon family reflected in his performance and the celebrations!
