Tricia Cooke, writer of Drive-Away Dolls and Honey, Don’t! has confirmed that a third and final instalment to her ‘lesbian b-movie trilogy’ – but lead Margaret Qualley has yet to be contacted. Following on from 2024’s bonkers sapphic road-trip-buddy-comedy-turned-murder-mystery Drive-Away Dolls, and the soon to be released second instalment Honey, Don’t! starring Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans and Margaret Qualley, the trilogy’s third act has got an update, however, this is news to Qualley. She told i-D, “I have not read a script [for a third film] and I haven’t been contacted. But let the record show that if I’m not in [the third film], I will be offended and I will be upset.” Qualley will portray private detective Honey O’Donahue in the upcoming comedy-mystery.
