The pride of Smith Falls, Ontario, came out on top! 🏆
Canadians have been dominating the sports world all year long, and another name joined the fun yesterday: world No. 58 Brooke Henderson, who claimed her second national title. Eh-mazing. 🇨🇦
Hometown victory marks Henderson’s first LPGA title in over two years: What better place to end a title drought than in front of your home crowd? The 27-year-old birdied the 17th hole to stay one stroke ahead of world No. 4 Minjee Lee, ultimately recording her 14th LPGA Tour win, this one with her older sister and caddie Brittany by her side. 💜
And Henderson wasn’t the only Canuck to make the nation proud. Fifteen-year-old amateur Aphrodite Deng opened the tourney with six birdies before Calgary’s teen sensation finished in 20th place. The future is oh so bright. 🤩
