Interestingly, during our conversation with director Lawrence Kan, known for the film In Broad Daylight and the TV series In Geek We Trust, we found that whether discussing his creative journey or his outlook on the industry’s future, labels kept surfacing — ones that needed to be redefined, or ones that didn’t quite align with reality.
