🏃‍♀️✨ We’re kicking off a new series highlighting our incredible Bank of America Chicago Marathon runners who are running for Team Roo! Each one has a story that touches us deeply, and we are endlessly inspired by their hustle, heart, and the fact that they’ve chosen to support our mission in such a meaningful way. First up is Chrissy, who is running in memory of her sweet dog, Kona who battled four types of cancer in her lifetime. 🧡 Toward the end of Kona’s cancer journey, Chrissy found Live Like Roo and received a care package, financial support, and grief support. That experience left a mark, and now, she wants to give back so that more families have the opportunity to receive that support.
