There are just some people that bring a level of anxiety into your life that you just don’t need and dealing with that after treatment can cause triggers for you to relapse… My biggest piece of advice would be to set boundaries and do things on your own terms. If you happen to run into them, let them know that you just aren’t ready to get back into a friendship, relationship, etc. and that you need to focus on your sobriety.
