What does it look like when notable figures of Singapore’s art scene and Cultural Medallion recipients — now in their 80s — try something completely new? For SG60, STPI invited artists Han Sai Por, Goh Beng Kwan and Ong Kim Seng back to their Creative Workshop to experiment with and create new works in print and paper. Alongside the late Chua Ek Kay, they present bodies of works that are inspiring and different from their usual practice. Walking through this exhibition felt like seeing old friends tell brand new stories. And honestly… if they can keep going after decades, what’s my excuse?
