Business Posts — Week Two
This might turn into a series, because somebody has to post the real-world side of business. Not the highlight reels. Not the scaling stories. Not the “quit your job and make six figures” advice.
Here’s the reality:
📊 Over 77% of nonemployer small businesses in the U.S. make less than $50,000 in annual revenue — and about 60% of seasoned small business owners with employees pay themselves less than $75,000 a year.
If you’re doing this only for the money, you will fail.
Even if the money comes (and that’s a big IF), you’ll still feel like you failed.
I’ve been at this nearly 27 years. I’ve put in close to 100,000 hours. I don’t know it all — but I know BS when I see it. And someone needs to start posting real-world truths, if for no other reason than to set expectations without crushing dreams.
Fact:
👉 Being in business is less about winning and more about outlasting.
