Our NYC Pre-Professional Contemporary Summer Intensive joffreynycpreprocontemporary has officially come to a close, and what an incredible two weeks it has been! Dancers immersed themselves in the full experience of contemporary concert dance, training in the techniques of Limón, Graham, Horton, Taylor, with the core foundation of our school—Ballet—while diving into repertory from today’s leading choreographers. Led by Artistic Director Bradley Shelver bradshelver, students gained a deeper understanding of the creativity, rigor, and collaboration that define the life of a professional contemporary artist. The culmination of this journey was shared with family and friends in studio showings at the end of each week, highlighting the artistry and commitment poured into every rehearsal and performance.
