Today is World Photography day. There are a lot of things I could say about photography, but I had a conversation with someone recently where I realized that photography quite literally saved my life. More than once. At times in my life where I had nothing… when I was starting over… looking for a direction in life… looking for hope— my camera was hope. So on a day that celebrates the skills and talent and eye of photographers and their beautiful art… I’m celebrating this little camera I carry around that has given me so much freedom and joy.
