9 years ago I had kid 3. The others I had in Manhattan and walked a million miles a day + nursing = the weight melted off.
Maybe it was my “geriatric” age (38?) but my body took a hit.
Two months later my amazing friend PatriciaRibeiroWolfson hosted Camp Mom - an incredible day devoted to moms - at a local day camp. It was an empowering day with the simple goal of having us feel seen for a few hours while we ignored our invisible loads.
I tried a mindfulness exercise (which I LOVED) and think about it often while failing to do one since.
There were many spectacular parts of this day but I was most excited to try the trapeze.
