Pls share I attended a travel bloggers conference last weekend & was sickened that a speaker on the final panel came out wearing a Ga💤a shirt. I immediately voiced my concern to deaf ears. This speaker gave a one sided view based on MISINFORMATION with no one to counter - I offered & was denied. No one talked about the hostages (held for 500+ days!). Look, all people should feel for both sides when it comes to innocent lives lost. People have free speech and can wear whatever shirt they want. But when it’s worn at an apolitical, inclusive, ticketed event it’s not activism, it’s inappropriate. Even worse this misinformation was being told to people with platforms who may not care and spread the lies they’re being fed. PLEASE if you were there fact check! A new friend said she didn’t feel safe & walked out. An old friend w/o ties to either side said it was completely over the line.
