It’s #BatWeek! 🦇 EPA and the @thevermontdec started field studies to develop a better understanding of the use of the Pike Hill Copper Mine Superfund site by threatened and endangered bats. Part of their research involves using mist nets (like the one in this video) to capture, band, and track bats.   *Only trained professionals should handle bats and no bats were harmed during this study.
