And now, as they prepare to welcome the Class of 2029 during Wednesday’s Freshman House Day, here are your leaders of the 2025-26 CHS House Council, from hometowns across Western New York and beyond ... These students were elected as prefects this spring to lead each of the CHS House System’s six houses – Arrupe, Campion, Gonzaga, Jogues, Loyola and Xavier. The two representatives from each of the upper classes were on campus Monday to meet with our Heads of House and plan Wednesday’s event, which includes the House Induction Ceremony, where our Class of 2029 will find out which part of the CHS House System they will belong to. All CHS students are members of one of six houses named after prominent Jesuits, and the competition, brotherhood and camaraderie of the pioneering CHS House System carry through their four years.
