🥩 Steak Pizzaiola | the perfect meal for a Sunday. Just grab some crusty Italian bread, and let this steak pizzaiola simmer on the stove all afternoon!
Steak of choice (ribeye, chicken, flank, etc)
1 onion, small dice
5 garlic cloves, finely mined
1 tbsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 (28oz) cans whole tomatoes, crushed by hand

Bring your steak to room temp, drizzle with olive oil, and liberally season with salt and pepper. Then heat a pan over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil. Once hot, sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side, or until a nice crust forms, then set a side.
Heat the pan over medium heat and drizzle with more olive oil. Add the onions and cook until softened and translucent. Then add the garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant.
