🍔 Week 7 of Game Day Bites: Onion Smash Burgers 🍔 these burgers slap, and they’re juicy AF!!
Burgers
-Bun of choice
-Onions, thinly sliced
-American Cheese
-Pickles
-2 (3oz) balls of meat per burger (I used patlafrieda dry aged 6oz burgers and made two 3oz balls from each burger)
-Salt and Pepper
Burger Sauce
-2 tbsp Mayo
-2 tbsp ketchup
-1 tbsp mustard
-1 tbsp relish, plus more to taste (I love wicklespickles relish)
-2 tsp white wine vinegar
-1/4 tsp each of paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder
-1/8 tsp cayenne pepper powder
-Salt, to taste
Make the sauce by combining all the ingredients together in a bowl. Mix and adjust salt, vinegar, and relish to taste. Then set aside in the fridge.
Heat a cast iron or carbon steel griddle/skillet over medium high heat. Once hot, spray with nonstick spray (I like to use southchicagopacking wagyu beef tallow spray).
