stinetea and I heard that the thing to do when visiting Bend, Oregon, is to float the river. So float the river we did! For some reason, even though I could see snow dotting the mountains in the distance, I somehow expected the water to be warm like in the Shenandoah in Harper’s Ferry. Alas! It was not warm haha. But still, it was lovely. We laid like lizards in the sun and got to hear the sound check for the Counting Crows concert happening that night. Combine that with Thai food for lunch and vegan milkshakes for dessert, it was a phenomenal day in Bend! Such a cool little city.
