In 1619, poor whites and Black indentured servants worked together — lived, labored, and even ran away together. That unity? It scared the system. So a strategy was born: 👉🏾 Divide by race to avoid unity by class. White servants were given shorter sentences and told they were “better.” Black folks were sentenced to life. That’s the real beginning of slavery in America — and the origin of a manufactured racial caste system. The word “white” didn’t even exist until 400 years ago. Let that sink in. Not biblical. Not natural. Invented — to divide. So no, race isn’t real. But racism? Systemic division?
