The viral running bear returns after being gifted the Diné name Shashjóhonaa’éí (Bear Sun) in 2021 — this time, he's dedicating his miles to mental health, suicide prevention, and cancer awareness. Earlier this week he shared: “I’m not in a rush to finish — my purpose was to come and visit everyone out here. Don’t feel bad waving me down. Say hi. Let’s chat.” 🐻☀️ Running from Flagstaff to Window Rock, Bearsun visited students at Leupp School, ran alongside kids in moccasins and future track stars, and even logged miles with construction workers in their boots. “It’s not about the miles.
