The search for Travis Decker, the man missing since June after likely killing his three young daughters at a Chelan County campground, continues with the FBI taking the lead, the Chelan County Sheriff's Office announced Monday.
The search for Decker has gripped both Washington state and the nation for months, with hundreds of volunteers and thousands of hours spent looking for the alleged murderer. Investigators initially indicated they believed Decker to be alive and hiding, using his extensive wilderness survival skills to move through the Washington backwoods and possibly the Pacific Crest Trail.
